Port Alsworth, Alaska 2025
Church Build To Reach Remote Alaska
In September of 2025, a dedicated group of 8 men embarked on a journey that took them through multiple flights to the remote town of Port Alsworth, Alaska, to assist in building the Lake Clark Bible Church in partnership with Samaritan's Purse. During their time there, they worked on a variety of construction projects, including applying the ceiling, completing the front entry, and finishing the siding. Their efforts were part of a larger mission aimed at spreading the gospel to the ends of the earth, emphasizing the importance of their small yet significant role in this vital work.
Chattanooga, Tennessee 2025
Continuing A partnership: Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home
In July 2025, a team of 29 members from Nails Creek Baptist Church set out for Chattanooga, Tennessee... once again! This family mission aimed to continue our partnership with the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home. We installed new flooring and performed maintenance work at their facilities, which included tidying up the yard and pressure washing. While our primary focus was to share the love of Christ through servanthood, we also took some time to enjoy each other’s company as a church family, especially since we brought along a lot of kids!
Piura, Peru 2025
Go Into All The World: Vol. 3
In July 2025, a spirited team of 7 from Nails Creek Baptist Chuch set off on another exciting adventure to Peru! Teaming up with our local church partner down there, they spread kindness and hope from the lively streets of Lima to the charming rural communities in Piura. Each day was woven with heartfelt devotion and acts of service, as they connected with the local community through the uplifting message of our Savior’s love! It was a truly transformative week, fostering eternal bonds, creating lasting connections, and making unforgettable memories!

Go Into All The World: Vol. 2
On Wednesday, February 12, 2025 a team of 8 people with bags packed and hearts full of excitement set out for a week of sharing the message of Jesus Christ with the wonderful people of Peru! Continuing our partnership with a local church, this team was able to spread the love of God from the bustling streets of Lima to the rural communities of Tumbes. Each day was filled with heartfelt devotion and selfless service as they interacted with the local people, aiming to brighten the lives of Peruvians through the teachings and endless love of our Savior.
Clarksville, Tennessee 2024
Bringing Aid In The Midst of Devastation
On Sunday, July 21, 2024, a team of 5 men from Nails Creek Baptist Church set out for Clarkesville Tennessee to serve in Jesus name! They worked hard all week to help others who had experienced devastation from the storms that had recently hit their hometown. Partnering with Samaritan’s Purse, these men were literally the hands and feet of Christ and we can’t be more proud of their servants hearts!
Pirua, Peru 2024
Go Into All The World: Vol. 1
On Tuesday, July 9, 2024 a group of 16 people (a mix of students and adults) gathered their passports and flew to Piura, Peru for a week of sharing Jesus Christ with this small town. Partnering with a local church, they were able to do a variety of mission work that greatly benefitted this Peruvian village - all while showing and speaking the love of Christ to everyone they met. Many lives were changed during this amazing week of international mission work and we can’t wait to continue a partnership to help bring Christ to everyone in Peru!
Chattanooga, Tennessee 2024
A family Mission trip focused on being servants in the Inner City of Chattanooga.
On Sunday, June 16, 2024, a team of 24 people from Nails Creek Baptist Church set out for Chattanooga, Tennessee. For two days, we partnered with “Hope For The Inner City Missions” doing long-needed maintenance work around their facility and helping in-need members of the community with various home projects. Our team spent the third day at “Tennessee Baptist Children’s Homes” painting their gymnasium and tending to their yardwork. We ended our day at TBCH playing games with the children who lived there and having a taco cookout! While our main focus was sharing the love of Christ through servanthood, we also took a little time to enjoy being together as a church family, visiting the amusement and water park, Lake Winnie! It was a great week full of hard work - we’re all ready for next year!
Kotzebue, Alaska 2023
Church Build Above The Arctic Circle
On Sunday, August 13, 2023 a team of 7 people from Nails Creek Baptist Church set out for Kotzebue, Alaska - a small town above the Arctic Circle! They partnered with Samaritan’s Purse to help prepare this community for future volunteer teams that will be completing a church build! This team had lots of hard work, many flights, and interesting food as they physically served as the hands and feet of God in Kotzebue, Alaska!
Covington, Kentucky 2023
A family Mission trip focused on outreach in the suburbs of Cincinnati.
On Sunday, June 18, 2023 a team of 34 people from Nails Creek Baptist Church set out for Covington, Kentucky - a small suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. Once there, we partnered with the Moore Activity Center (MAC Center, for short) to provide aid for families and individuals in the form of food, free yard sales, and construction. In the evenings, our team led a Backyard Bible Study for community children to have “Fun in the Son” while learning about their creator, who values them above all else. While our main focus was sharing the love of Christ with the people of Covington, we also took a little time to learn more about the God we serve by visiting the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter! It was a great week, and our prayer is for the MAC Center to continue this amazing outreach!
