Nails Creek Baptist Church was established February 11, 1787, by Rev. Moses Sanders, a soldier in the Continental Army serving under George Washington. It was originally a log chapel called, “The Church at Nails Creek” and its mission was to reach the Indians and early settlers in the area. They soon outgrew the original structure, and so, Nails Creek has the honor of being the mother of many other churches in our area. Since her founding, Nails Creek has been rebuilt, renovated, and restored to meet the needs of today, but the same mission mindset is ever present.
CHATTANOOGA MISSION TRIP 2024

Suitable for families & individuals! This 6-day trip will be spent working with the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home doing various projects like painting/renovating, partnering with a couple of local outreach programs, and hosting a community cookout! Our mission: to share the love of Christ Jesus with all peoples by being the hands and feet of Jesus.

CINCINNATI MISSION TRIP
Suitable for families & individuals! This 6-day trip will be mainly based around inner-city missions in the suburb of Covington, KY where we will partner with the MAC Center to do a variety of community outreach, minimal construction, and host an evening Backyard Bible School! While on this trip, we will also visit the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum - both extremely fun, family-friendly exhibits!
There is a registration fee for each participant ($25.00 for each adult -18 and over or $15.00 for each child - under 18). This fee covers mission accidental insurance and background checks, etc. Since we will be working with children, adults 18 or over are required to have a current background by Nails Creek. (We will contact you to let you know the status of your background check - if yours is current, needs to be renewed, or if you need to complete a new background check.)
You will be responsible for booking your own hotel rooms. We have secured a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites, Cincinnati Riverfront with a discounted rate of $126.00 plus tax, per night.
You will also be responsible for purchasing your own tickets to the Ark Encounter & the Creation Museum. You will need to purchase the Museum & Ark Combo tickets, but kids under 10 are free. Most meals will be included at no cost to you, but *noted in the itinerary are the meals you will need to purchase on your own.

Church Build Above The Arctic Circle
On Sunday, August 13, 2023 a team of 7 people from Nails Creek Baptist Church set out for Kotzebue, Alaska - a small town above the Arctic Circle! They partnered with Samaritan’s Purse to help prepare this community for future volunteer teams that will be completing a church build! This team had lots of hard work, many flights, and interesting food as they physically served as the hands and feet of God in Kotzebue, Alaska!

A family Mission trip focused on inner-city outreach in the suburbs of Cincinnati.
On Sunday, June 18, 2023 a team of 34 people from Nails Creek Baptist Church set out for Covington, Kentucky - a small suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. Once there, we partnered with the Moore Activity Center (MAC Center, for short) to provide aid for families and individuals in the form of food, free yard sales, and construction. In the evenings, our team led a Backyard Bible Study for community children to have “Fun in the Son” while learning about their creator, who values them above all else. While our main focus was sharing the love of Christ with the people of Covington, we also took a little time to learn more about the God we serve by visiting the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter! It was a great week, and our prayer is for the MAC Center to continue this amazing outreach!
